Senior Youth Program Specialist

The Senior Youth Program Specialist at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) is responsible for teaching and implementing youth and education programs in Spokane, WA. Degree or certification in Education or related field 2-4 years relevant experience in teaching or youth development Experience in training and facilitation Detail-oriented and reliable English proficiency; additional languages a plus Cross-cultural experience with refugee/immigrant communities Experience with multi-lingual students Ability to use various instructional strategies Commitment to safe learning spaces and trauma-informed practices Strong communication skills Proficiency in MS Office Ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds Commitment to anti-racism and continual learning Ability to work independently and in a team Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Willingness to be First Aid/CPR certified
