Mercy Corps is seeking a proactive Project Officer to support a UK PACT-funded clean energy project in Abuja, Nigeria. The role involves coordinating field activities, engaging with government and community stakeholders, and ensuring collaboration across internal teams. The Project Officer will manage logistics, oversee community engagement, and maintain compliance with project requirements. This position is focused on high-quality implementation and effective stakeholder engagement over a 10-month contract. Diploma or bachelor's degree in relevant field 3-5 years of experience in field coordination Experience with government institutions and diverse stakeholders Strong coordination and administrative skills Familiarity with donor-funded projects Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to travel frequently
