Read more about this company Carpenter Foreman Job Type Full Time , Onsite Qualification BA/BSc/HND , OND , Vocational Experience 5 - 10 years Location Adamawa , Kano Job Field Engineering / Technical   Salary Range ₦150,000 - ₦200,000/month We are seeking to hire a skilled and experienced Carpenter Foreman (Construction Projects) to supervise all carpentry and formwork activities on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in formwork, structural carpentry, and finishing works, particularly in road, bridge, and culvert construction projects. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all carpentry and formwork operations on site Lead a team of carpenters in the construction of formwork for bridges, culverts, and road structures Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction specifications Ensure accurate measurement, cutting, and assembly of materials Oversee installation of wooden and metal formwork for concrete structures Inspect and ensure quality workmanship in all carpentry tasks Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site Plan daily work activities and ensure timely completion of tasks Identify and resolve technical or workmanship issues Requirements: Minimum of Trade Test Certificate, OND, or HND in Carpentry, Building Technology, or related field Relevant certifications or vocational training is an added advantage Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience as a Carpenter Foreman in construction projects Strong experience in formwork carpentry for concrete works (bridges, culverts, roads) Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and construction methods Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Must be willing to travel or relocate to project sites within Northern Nigeria Physically fit and capable of handling site work Good communication and organisational skills What We Offer: Competitive salary Opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects Career growth and development Check how your CV aligns with this job Method of Application Interested and qualified candidates should apply using the Apply Now button below.
