Role Description This is an on-site internship role for an AECO Professional located in Yaoundé. The AECO Professional intern will support analysis and documentation of infrastructure systems, project governance structures, and delivery frameworks for complex capital projects. Responsibilities include assisting with data collection, preparing reports and presentations, and contributing to the development and refinement of tools, templates, and workflows for AECO systems integration. The intern will collaborate with senior consultants to map stakeholder requirements, support process improvement initiatives, and help coordinate cross-functional meetings and workshops. The role also involves researching best practices in infrastructure transformation, supporting implementation of project controls and governance standards, and documenting lessons learned for internal knowledge systems. Qualifications

Strong interest in AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations) systems, infrastructure governance, and capital project delivery. Ability to analyze complex information, synthesize insights, and present findings clearly in written and visual formats. Comfort working with structured data (e.g., spreadsheets, basic project tracking tools) and learning new digital platforms. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary and cross-cultural teams. Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and willingness to engage with both technical details and strategic concepts. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, urban planning, systems engineering, or a related field. Professional proficiency in English; proficiency in French is an advantage given the location in Yaoundé. Prior exposure to infrastructure or construction projects (through coursework, internships, or projects) is beneficial but not required.
