Job Description

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Cameroon is seeking a Communication Intern to support humanitarian and development initiatives in Douala. The intern will assist in content gathering, visibility support, field reporting, and the organization of communication materials. This role aims to enhance the mission's visibility and engagement efforts while providing practical experience in humanitarian communication. The internship is designed for candidates enrolled in or recently graduated from relevant academic programs. Enrolled in final year of Bachelor's or Master's in Communication or related field Proficiency in English and French Good knowledge of communication strategies and tools Experience with digital tools for communication materials Strong report writing skills Ability to conduct interviews with stakeholders Understanding of communication challenges in sensitive contexts Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively Experience or knowledge of the humanitarian sector
