ABOUT THE COMPANY Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) is a local non-governmental organization incorporated in Nigeria in 2009 with registration number CAC/NO/33391 and headquarters in Nigeria’s federal capital territory, Abuja. It was established with a mission to promote socioeconomic development by supporting a broad range of global health interventions, education, research and economic initiatives in Nigeria. It is an allied organization to Family Health International (FHI360) with coexisting and mutually supportive interest in advancing the collective goals of the people and communities served. AHNi has presence across four geopolitical regions of Nigeria with a long history of working in North Eastern Nigeria which includes the cluster 1 states (Adamawa, Borno and Yobe) and its beneficiaries include vulnerable groups such as youths, women, children and elderly at both national and subnational levels.AHNI is competent to support the local partners organizations to implement ACE project based on its competencies in technical, financial, and managerial capacity summarized below: JOB SUMMARY Minimum Recruitment StandardBachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Community Development, Sociology, Health Education, Development Studies, or related discipline.Master’s degree in public health, Social Work, Development Studies, Community Health, or related field is an added advantage.Minimum of 5–7 years relevant experience in community systems strengthening, social mobilization, community health programming, or donor-funded public health projects. RESPONSIBILITIES The Senior CBO Coordinator is responsible for leading and coordinating all community-based organization (CBO) activities to strengthen community systems and enhance participation in immunization services. This includes developing and implementing strategies for social mobilization and demand generation, promoting vaccine acceptance, and addressing hesitancy through culturally appropriate communication and outreach initiatives. The role involves managing and building the capacity of CBO partners, ensuring effective planning, performance monitoring, and alignment with project goals, donor requirements, and national priorities. Additionally, the coordinator oversees monitoring and evaluation of community interventions, supports data collection and reporting, and documents key outcomes and lessons learned. The position also requires active stakeholder engagement and advocacy with community leaders, government agencies, and partners, as well as providing supportive supervision to ensure quality implementation of field activities.  REQUIRED SKILLS Ability to coordinate, Public health, Project implementation REQUIRED EDUCATION Bachelor's degree
