Approx Monthly Salary: R30 000,00 - R40 000,00 Job Spec Company Job Summary Key Responsibilities Conduct site inspections, surveys, and fire risk assessments across commercial, retail, and industrial properties Design and develop fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and suppression systems Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates Ensure compliance with SANS regulations, building codes, and fire safety legislation Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project stakeholders Perform system inspections, testing, servicing, and maintenance Provide recommendations for fire safety improvements and risk mitigation Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables Provide technical support to clients and internal teams Stay up to date with fire engineering standards and new technologies

SAQCC certification (Handheld and Detection – essential) Valid driver’s licence

Expérience

3–5 years’ experience as a Fire Technician / Fire Supervisor / Fire Systems Technician Strong technical knowledge of fire detection, suppression, and alarm systems Experience working with various fire protection systems and products Solid understanding of fire safety compliance, SANS standards, and relevant legislation

Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding ability Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines High attention to detail and compliance Strong understanding of implementation and regulatory compliance Ability to work independently and within a team
