We are seeking a qualified and experienced  Purchasing Officer  to manage and oversee all procurement activities for our power plant projects in Burkina Faso, including a  50MW Diesel Power Station  and upcoming  HSFO/LSFO power plant projects . The ideal candidate will have strong experience in procurement within the  power generation or energy sector . Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end procurement processes for equipment, materials, and services related to power plant operations Source and evaluate suppliers, contractors, and vendors locally and internationally Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards Coordinate with engineering, project, and maintenance teams to understand purchasing needs Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines Maintain supplier database and performance records Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and budgeting forecasts Handle logistics coordination when required (shipping, customs clearance, etc.)
