JOB PURPOSE
To manage and maintain the relationships of assigned LOF credit portfolio from effectiveness date till final closure.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Relationship Management and Portfolio Management
Manage the client relationships and oversee the performance of ICD's credit facilities to ensure effective execution of credit portfolio operations and maintain the credit quality of the assigned portfolio.
Review and clear disbursement requests submitted by clients, and secure all required internal clearances for execution.
Set up facility limits, drawdowns and deals, and repayment schedules in ICD’s core system in line with the agreed facility terms.
Follow up with the client to ensure the disbursed funds are utilized according to the terms stipulated in the signed facility agreements.
Follow up with clients receiving all the required reports stipulated in the financing agreements in timely manner.
Review the received reports and provide the line manager with quality analysis of the facility/project developments with proper recommendations if needed.
Assess clients’ waiver/amendment/NOC/ requests and prepare a memo on the request with recommendation for internal approval. Obtain the needed notes/clearances from the relevant internal functions. Develop and present the proposals to the approving authorities within ICD. Follow up the signing of the related documents.
Review and monitor the security package provided under the facility to ensure it is always valid, enforceable and evaluated in accordance with ICD’s Policies & Procedures.
Detect and report early warning signals and/or deterioration in the creditworthiness of ICD’s clients and recommend remedial actions.
Follow up on the collection of due and overdue repayments and take necessary actions to regularize defaulted accounts.
Escalating non-performing facilities to the Special Operations Office (SOO) in accordance with the relevant Guidelines.
Rescheduling/Restructuring
Evaluate rescheduling and/or restructuring requests for facilities with overdue payments that have not yet been transferred to SOO.
Undertake macroeconomy and industry analysis of countries with ICD’s exposure.
Prepare a report on the clients’ requests with PMD recommendations.
Secure all required notes/clearances from the relevant internal functions.
Present the proposals to the relevant approving authorities within ICD.
Coordinate the facility rescheduling and/or restructuring exercise and follow up on the execution of the relevant documentation.
Update the internal core system to reflect the new repayment schedule following the rescheduling/restructuring.
Reporting & Communication
Develop periodic and/or ad-hoc reports outlining credit portfolio performance across all applicable metrics (disbursement, collection, compliance with the covenants of the agreements, etc.).
Review reports on performance of ICD’s credit financing portfolio.
Report to the line manager the overall quality of the portfolio, progress status, key changes, and status of adherence to the risk management guidelines.
Prepare internal ad-hoc requests (memos, internal support documentation requests, reports, presentations and others).
Respond to audit requests and any initiative or high-level requests as related to Department.
Participate in professional and public forums related to the department as and when required.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications / Professional Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in banking environment / financial institutions, preferably in Credit Relationship Management role in emerging markets.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration or similar discipline is required.
Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar discipline or a relevant Professional certificate in Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Management Accounting (CMA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or any additional relevant professional certifications is required.
Language Skills
Capable of communicating in English and Turkish.
Knowledge of Russian language is an advantage.
