Operations Manager Job Type Full Time , Onsite Qualification BA/BSc/HND , MBA/MSc/MA Experience 7 years Location Plateau Job Field Administration / Facilities   , Food, Beverage & Hospitality   Salary Range ₦750,000 - ₦1,000,000/month The Operations Manager is responsible for directing and overseeing the daily operations of the Property. This key leadership role ensures that every department functions seamlessly to deliver a world-class luxury experience. The ideal candidate will safeguard the hotel’s unique brand identity, while maximizing operational efficiency, financial performance, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Brand Standards Ensure all guest-facing departments (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, and Concierge) consistently deliver exceptional, personalized service. Maintain the pristine condition of the hotel's modern interiors, ensuring the natural, earth-toned design elements remain immaculate across all rooms and public spaces. Oversee the seamless operation and safety of outdoor recreation amenities, specifically the property's hiking trail network, summit ascent routes, viewing platforms, and designated rest stops. Champion and integrate the hotel's wellness initiatives, ensuring programs such as guided meditation and earthing/grounding experiences are expertly facilitated for guests. Operational & Financial Management Enforce and continuously refine the property's Financial Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring strict adherence to budgets, cost controls, and revenue targets. Analyse daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to identify trends, rectify inefficiencies, and optimize profitability. Coordinate with the maintenance and engineering teams to ensure all physical assets, infrastructure, and landscaping are meticulously maintained. Team Leadership & Development Lead the continuous execution of the staffing framework, ensuring optimal department allocation and shift coverage. Foster a positive, high-performance work culture by mentoring department heads and staff. Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training needs, and implement development programs to elevate service standards. Mediate and resolve any internal staff conflicts swiftly and professionally. Compliance & Safety Ensure the property complies with all local regulations, health and safety standards, and licensing requirements in Plateau State. Implement and oversee comprehensive security protocols to guarantee the safety of all guests, staff, and physical assets. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage). Experience: Minimum of 7 years of progressive management experience in luxury hotels or high-end resorts, with a proven track record in the Nigerian hospitality sector. Skills: Strong financial acumen with experience managing complex departmental budgets and Financial SOPs. Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for executive reporting, business planning, and guest relations. Keen eye for design and aesthetic maintenance, particularly in luxury hotels and resort environments. Personal Attributes: A passion for nature, outdoor recreation, and holistic wellness. High emotional intelligence, adaptability, and crisis-management skills. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Working Conditions Full-time position requiring flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings based on business demands.
