ASSIGNMENT:We are seeking a Qualified and Experienced Maintenance Engineer with 5 to 10 years experience in MEP and civil activities preferably in Industrial facilities. The engineer will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing the preventive and corrective maintenance of Industrial facilities, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. This role requires both technical expertise and the ability to manage teams, prepare maintenance schedules, and preventive plans.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Preventive & Corrective MaintenancePlan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial facilities, including warehouse storage units for various food products.Perform routine inspections of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems to detect early signs of malfunction.Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and ensure timely intervention to minimize downtime.Supervise and guide the troubleshooting and repair of complex MEP and civil-related issues across facility components.Monitor facility performance and implement necessary improvements to enhance efficiency and extend asset life. 2. Electrical & Mechanical Systems Maintenance.Maintain and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, and associated components.Troubleshoot electrical faults and replace defective circuit breakers, fuses, switches, and other components.Monitor system performance and adjust controls to ensure energy efficiency and operational comfort.• Liaise with OEMs and third-party vendors for technical support as required.• Review and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and single-line diagrams (SLD) to ensure accurate execution of work.3. Supervision & Team LeadershipSupervise and provide hands-on guidance to technicians during maintenance and installation activities.Conduct training sessions for junior staff on proper maintenance procedures and workplace safety practices.Ensure that health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies are strictly followed during all operations.4. Inventory & Asset ManagementMaintain accurate stock records of tools, consumables, and spare parts, ensuring adequate inventory levels at all times.Conduct weekly physical inventory checks and ensure daily updates to the stock register.Ensure proper documentation of warranty cards, manuals, and facility-related technical documentation.6. Cost & Efficiency OptimizationIdentify and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce maintenance overheads and utility consumption.Recommend investments or upgrades based on performance reviews and technical assessments of existing infrastructure.
