JOB OFFER IN DOUALA(01) MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORASSIGNMENT:We are seeking a Qualified and experienced Maintenance Supervisor with 2 to 5 years' experience in MEP and civil activities preferably in Industrial facilities. The Supervisor will be following all the instructions provided by the area Engineer/In charge related maintenance activities.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:1.General Maintenance OversightAs per Manager/Engineer instructions supervise maintenance teams and activities including ceramics, plastering, plumbing, flooring, painting, air conditioning, electrical works, and light civil repairs in warehouses, buildings, and facilities.Perform preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, ensuring records are kept up to date.2.Safety Systems ManagementConduct regular inspections and maintenance of building safety systems (fire alarm panels, extinguishers, sprinklers, fire hydrants, etc.).Ensure strict adherence to predefined maintenance schedules for all safety-related systems to guarantee optimal performance.Troubleshoot and fix faults in safety systems promptly, especially during emergencies, to minimize risk and operational downtime.3.MEP Systems & Building OperationsOversee day-to-day operations and upkeep of all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems within the facility.Act quickly to resolve any mechanical, electrical, or plumbing issues, prioritizing efficient repairs to maintain continuity of operations.PROFILE :• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field. Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical maintenance is a plus.· Basic knowledge of health & safety regulations (HSE certification preferred).·Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience in maintenance supervision, especially in industrial facilities. Experience in handling both MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and minor Civil works. Hands-on background in preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.• Language: English (and French, Bilingual preferred).Driving license: BImmediate availability or short notice period preferredTECHNICAL AND PERSONAL SKILLS• Savvy in maintenance activities across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and civil systemsFamiliarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings (e.g., P&ID, SLD).Understanding of fire safety systems, HVAC units, pumps, panels, and control systems. Ability to identify faults in building infrastructure and utility systems.
