Please join us in carrying out our mission ( [Click the Apply button below to apply, and Create my CV to build a CV tailored to this offer, professionally] Project Overview: This anticipated 5-year USAID-funded DRC Bednet Distribution Project will support the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) National Malaria Control Program (NMCP) to achieve and maintain its goal of universal coverage of insecticide-treated bed nets (ITNs) through mass, health facility, and school-based distribution in targeted provinces and strengthen the NCMP to efficiently plan and implement proven ITN distribution. Program responsibilities: URC is seeking a Supply Chain & Logistics Director to oversee the planning and execution of all logistics operations related to mass, health facility, and school-based bed net distribution and storage for the anticipated USAID Bednet Distribution Project in DRC. Reporting to the Project Director, the Supply Chain & Logistics Director will closely work with the program team, NMCP, and other local partners to ensure successful universal coverage of ITNs across the country. He/she will also coordinate with the Global Health Supply Chain - Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM) Project, which is responsible for delivery of ITNs to regional warehouses. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop and implement supply chain plans, in close coordination with GHSC-PSM, partners, and staff to ensure successful ITN distribution at sub-provincial levels; Support NMCP at the national and subnational levels to strengthen ITN logistics management and tracking to ensure efficient and timely distribution of ITNs from regional warehouses to health zones and final distribution points;

Support NMCP to use databases to monitor stock levels, track distribution, and storage of ITNs, and inform stock forecasting, quantifications, and focused redistributions; Support NMCP to develop and enact policies to ensure the physical security of ITNs during storage and transport; and, Manage a team of supply chain managers/logisticians.
A Masters Degree (or foreign equivalent) in international development, public/business administration, social sciences, or a similar relevant field.
Expérience
Five years (10 for a bachelors degree holder) of relevant management and technical experience working with activities that are of a similar scope and scale to this activity. Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management, storage, security, and distribution of health commodities with experience managing and strengthening supply chain systems in in Africa, the DRC or other fragile/conflict-affected country Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple concurrent priorities and deliver timely, accurate results
Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills in French with native level fluency strongly preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Experience supporting USAID and PMI-funded health initiatives, preferably malaria, and familiarity with reporting requirements preferred. Responsabilités

Sous la responsabilité du directeur de projet, le directeur de la chaîne d'approvisionnement et de la logistique travaillera en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe du programme, le NMCP et d'autres partenaires locaux pour assurer une couverture universelle réussie des moustiquaires dans tout le pays. Il/elle assurera également la coordination avec le projet Global Health Supply Chain - Procurement and Supply Management (GHSC-PSM), qui est responsable de la livraison des MII aux entrepôts régionaux. Qualifications requises: Un master (ou un équivalent étranger) en développement international, en administration publique/d'entreprise, en sciences sociales ou dans un domaine similaire pertinent. Cinq ans (10 pour un titulaire de licence) d'expérience pertinente en gestion et en technique dans des activités de portée et d'ampleur similaires cette activité. Connaissance avérée de la gestion de la chaîne d'approvisionnement, du stockage, de la sécurité et de la distribution des produits de santé, avec une expérience de la gestion et du renforcement des systèmes de chaîne d'approvisionnement en Afrique, en RDC ou dans un autre pays fragile/affecté par un conflit Capacité démontrée respecter les délais, gérer de multiples priorités simultanées et fournir des résultats précis en temps voulu Excellentes aptitudes l'écriture, l'analyse et la communication en français, avec une préférence marquée pour la maîtrise de la langue maternelle. Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite en anglais. Expérience du soutien aux initiatives de santé financées par l'USAID et le PMI, de préférence dans le domaine du paludisme, et connaissance des exigences en matière de rapports.
