📌 ### 📌 ### 📌 ### 📌 The Child Protection in Emergency (CPiE) Officer contributes to creating lasting change for children by implementing high-quality, lifesaving child protection interventions in humanitarian and emergency settings. In this role, your aim is to prevent and respond to child protection risks including abuse, neglect, exploitation, violence, separation, and harmful practices through the delivery of psychosocial support, quality case management, and the strengthening of community-based child protection mechanisms, in line with Plan International policies and the Child Protection Minimum Standards (CPMS). Specifically, you will: Implement child protection activities under an ECHO-funded humanitarian project in Menchum and Ngoketunjia Divisions of the North West Region. Works directly with crisis-affected children, adolescents, caregivers, and community structures across multiple hard-to-reach communities. Provides technical support and supervision to Social/Case Workers and community-based child protection actors. Contributes to project planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting, including donor reporting requirements. Engages with local authorities, community leaders, humanitarian partners, and coordination mechanisms (e.g. Protection Cluster). Requires regular field travel in insecure and volatile contexts, with responsibility for ensuring safe and ethical programme delivery.
