AVIS DE RECRUTEMENT INTERNE / EXTERNE Position: Junior Mining Engineer Location: Goulamina, Mali Reports to: Technical Services Superintendent. Position Purpose: This role is an entry level professional. The Junior Engineer is responsible for supporting the planning, design, and mining operations and projects under the supervision of senior engineers. The role combines technical knowledge, fieldwork, and coordination. Responsabilités clés : conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards; support daily production activities and monitor performance against targets; assist in the planning and design of mining operations; monitor daily ore and waste production to ensure alignment with mine plans; prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production reports; support short-term mine planning activities; collect and analyse operational data to improve productivity and recovery; support drill and blast design including pattern layout, charging plans, and timing; ensure proper QA/QC is done prior each blast and provide the report; monitoring progress against plan and reporting significant deviations to senior engineers; prepare mid, month end report and physicals; prepare and present daily, weekly, monthly mine plans to ensure alignment with three months rolling plans; ensure adherence to environmental regulations and sustainable mining practices; prepare end of month accruals and claims for all contractors; maintain good communication system at all levels of supervision and management; execute any other task assigned by the superior. Qualifications: tertiary degree in mining or civil engineering; beginner to one year of relevant professional experience; basic knowledge of mining operations or site development; understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; knowledge of mining software is an advantage; ability to work in multicultural teams; high level of integrity and professionalism.
