Job title: TEAM MEMBER, ICFR (Internal Control Over Financial Reporting) Department: Internal Control Reporting Line: Team Lead, ICFR Location: Head Office Job Objectives Responsible to perform various test control testing and ensure compliance with ICFR requirements Role & Responsibilities 1. Maintain process narratives, flowcharts, risk control matrices and control documentation 2. Ensure controls are properly aligned with financial reporting risks 3. Perform walkthroughs and test the operating effectiveness of key controls 4. Identify control gaps, deficiencies and areas for improvement 5. Assist in evaluating the severity of control deficiencies and remediation plans 6. Coordinate with process owners to ensure timely completion of control activities 7. Propose/initiate controls on the Financial Statements EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Education - Minimum of bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, banking, audit and control. EXPERIENCE Experience – Minimum of 0-2 years banking or minimum of 1-3 years non-banking but related experience. Key Competencies: Knowledge – Basis knowledge in finance and accounting – Basic knowledge in banking operations – Basic knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements for financial reporting Skills/Competencies/Aptitudes – Good analytical skill. – Good writing skill. – Good presentation skill. – Good drafting Skill. – Good IT skill.
