Job Description

IOM Cameroon is seeking a Project Assistant (Assisted Returns) to enhance its AVRR unit. The role involves providing airport assistance to returning migrants, coordinating reception and reintegration support, and conducting assessments to ensure informed decision-making for migrants. The assistant will work closely with sending missions and relevant partners to facilitate the reintegration process and support vulnerable migrants. This position requires strong communication skills and a background in social work or related fields. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, International Studies, Law, Political or Social sciences, Development Studies, Education, or related field Two years of relevant experience or four years with a high school degree Experience in social work, case management, or protection work Fluency in French and English (oral and written) Good understanding of social protection and migration issues
