Plan International Pilipinas is a girl-centered community-focused non-government organization, serving the Philippines for the last 64 years.

 

We are a newly locally registered Foundation, connected to 80+ Plan International offices worldwide.

 

We work with around 7,000 partner communities or barangays across the country, delivering programs on (PIER) Protection from Violence, Inclusive Health, Education to Economic Empowerment, and Resilience and Humanitarian.

 

We have 30,000 sponsored children and 2.5 million program participants, co-creating lasting impact especially for girls.

   

About the Project

 

Plan International Pilipinas is preparing to implement the  Global Teen Digital Wellbeing Initiative , a Google.org–supported project that will help Filipino teens stay safe, healthy, and responsible online. The project will work with schools, communities, and local partners to promote digital well-being and create safer online spaces for young people.

 

We are looking for a  Project Officer who will help deliver activities in communities and schools, support youth engagement, and assist with gathering important project data. This role will work closely with the Project Manager, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning (MERL) Officer, and local partners to ensure quality, child‑centered, and gender‑responsive implementation.

 

What You’ll Do

 

Support youth groups, schools, and community organizations in promoting digital well-being and online safety.

Help conduct community consultations and learning sessions with young people, parents, teachers, and local leaders.

Assist in organizing training and activities that empower children and youth to stay safe online and use digital platforms responsibly.

Coordinate with LGUs, schools, and other partners to strengthen online safety reporting and support systems.

Help collect and document project data (e.g., attendance, surveys, feedback, stories of change).

Support the preparation of community reports and project updates.

 

What We’re Looking For

 

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Community Development, Social Sciences, Education, or related fields.

At least 3 years of field experience in child protection, education, or community development projects.

Experience working with young people, communities, and local government partners.

Knowledge of child protection issues, gender equality, and online safety in the Philippines.

Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

Proactive, organized, gender‑sensitive, and committed to child rights and safeguarding.

 

  Base Location: Makati City (1), Tacloban City (1)

Type of Role: Project-based (until February 2028)

Reports to: Project Manager

This role requires constant fieldwork in the project areas.
