The Fellow will support the Central African Forest Initiative (CAFI) in enhancing national expertise and capacity in sustainable development and climate change mitigation across six partner countries. Responsibilities include portfolio management, programme management support, and contributions to Payments for Environmental Services (PES). The role involves data analysis, monitoring, and coordination with various stakeholders to advance policy dialogues and programme development. This position offers valuable experience in a professional environment aligned with international standards. Nationality from one of the 6 CAFI Partner countries Letter of recommendation from a government representative or academic institution Master's degree in environment, sustainable development, forestry, or related field At least one year of professional experience in relevant topics Fluency in French Good knowledge of English or Spanish is an advantage Interest in working in an international organization Good analytical skills Outgoing and initiative-taking Effective communication skills Meticulous organizational skills Cultural sensitivity and adaptability
