Key Responsibilities for Reach Truck Drivers

• Safely and efficiently operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, and stack products within the warehouse.

• Executing order picking and put-away tasks with accuracy to meet inventory management targets.

• Performing routine pre-operational checks and basic maintenance on the reach truck to ensure equipment reliability.

• Adhering strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including load capacity limits and speed controls.

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment in the loading bays and racking aisles.

• Collaborating with the warehouse team to optimize storage space and streamline the flow of goods.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a proven track record in warehouse operations. We are looking for candidates who not only have the technical skills but also the right attitude towards teamwork and safety. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Valid and current Reach Truck certification or license (essential).

• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Reach Truck Driver in a similar high-volume warehouse environment.

• Ability to work accurately with inventory management systems and RF scanners.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.

• Reliable, punctual, and physically fit to perform manual tasks as required.

• South African citizenship or valid work permit.
