 The Legal Officer shall be the Head of Legal Unit of the University and shall report directly to the Registrar.

 Duties:
 The Legal Officer will be responsible for
All legal matters of the University including but not limited to advising the Vice‑Chancellor on contracts being entered into by the University.
Represent the University in court and other para‑legal Institutions.
The legality of all transactions within and outside the University.
Carry out periodic legal audit of all sections of the University.

 
 Qualification:
 Applicant must:
Hold a minimum LLB and BL and must be a qualified Lawyer registered with the Ghana Bar Association.
Have six (6) years post qualification experience at the Bar and Must have practiced in an Institution of similar standing.
