About the Olive Tree Foundation

The Olive Tree Foundation provides financial support to  Canadian charities and community organizations  to implement projects that advance social, health, education, policy, and cultural objectives. The Foundation emphasizes initiatives that strengthen community well-being and promote inclusive, sustainable development.

Priority Areas and Themes

The Foundation funds programs in the following focus areas:

Equity, Inclusion & Community Well-Being:  Anti-racism and anti-Islamophobia initiatives, disability inclusion, mental health services, refugee and senior support, food security, and shelter assistance.

Youth Development & Education:  Youth leadership programs, mentorship, and youth-led arts, media, and educational initiatives.

Civic Engagement:  Civic literacy, advocacy, interfaith and Indigenous engagement, and policy-related projects.

Environmental Stewardship & Sustainability:  Community environmental projects, climate awareness programs, and sustainability-focused initiatives.

Funding Details

Grant amounts vary based on  available funds and the potential community impact

Applicants are encouraged to  discuss their project  with the Foundation prior to submission

Organizations sponsored by registered charitable organizations
