Roles and Responsibilities – Conduct physical assessments to evaluate patients’ mobility, muscle strength, balance, coordination and physical functioning. – Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on patients’ conditions, rehabilitation goals and functional limitations. – Provide therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation interventions to improve patients’ mobility, flexibility, strength and physical independence. – Support postpartum mothers through appropriate rehabilitation programmes, including pelvic floor exercises and recovery-focused physical therapy. – Provide physiotherapy services to patients recovering from surgery, injuries, neurological conditions and other physical impairments. – Apply appropriate manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities to manage pain and improve physical function. – Educate patients and caregivers on rehabilitation exercises, correct posture, body mechanics and injury prevention. – Develop based exercise programmes for patients requiring continued rehabilitation and physical support outside clinical settings. – Monitor patients’ progress, evaluate treatment outcomes and adjust rehabilitation plans according to individual recovery needs. – Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care. – Maintain accurate patient assessment records, treatment plans and rehabilitation progress reports. – Recommend appropriate mobility aids and assistive devices where necessary to improve patients’ independence and quality of life.
