[ABOUT THE JOB]

Africa Global Logistics (AGL) is recruiting in Cameroon a Billing and Collection Officer (CDI, Operations Freight Forwarding function). Objective: to ensure accurate and timely invoicing of closed files, monitor receivables and receipts and secure the quality of financial data, in connection with operational and accounting teams.

[DUTIES]

  • Control quotations, real costs and supporting documents before invoicing
  • Invoicing closed files on time
  • Follow the old balance and receivables
  • Relaunch customers and track receipts
  • Deal with assets, corrections and disputes
  • Produce the weekly statement of outstanding receivables and unbilled records

[PROFILE]

  • Bac+2/3 minimum in accounting, finance, management or administration
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in invoicing, collection or customer accounting, ideally in transport and logistics
  • Mastery of Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, invoicing software and an ERP
  • Professional English (asset)
  • Rigor, respect for deadlines, firmness and diplomacy, a sense of analysis and negotiation
