The Communication and Advocacy Manager for Cameroon and Chad will lead NRC's policy, advocacy, and communications efforts in both countries. This role involves developing and implementing advocacy strategies, producing advocacy notes, and coordinating with various stakeholders to address humanitarian needs. The position requires a strong understanding of international legal frameworks and the ability to translate complex issues into clear messaging. The manager will work closely with both country offices to ensure aligned priorities and effective communication. Postgraduate degree in communications, international relations, law, political science, or journalism Minimum five years' experience in senior communications or advocacy role Strong understanding of international legal and policy frameworks related to displacement Demonstrated knowledge of protection principles and advocacy integration Proven track record in strategic communications and advocacy initiatives Fluency in English and French, with excellent drafting skills Strong knowledge of refugee and displacement context in Central Africa Experience in policy analysis and influencing strategies Proven ability to develop high-quality strategy and draft tailored communications Experience managing internal and external communications Confident public speaker with experience at senior-level events Strong leadership, coordination, and interpersonal skills
