Main Responsibilities: Assist housekeeping by supplying rooms with clean linen, towels, and supplies, and collect dirty laundry and other relevant items. Perform deep cleaning tasks, including carpet cleaning, window washing, mattress cleaning, high dusting, and polishing furniture and curtain rails. Assist with setting up guest rooms with special amenities or decorations for special occasions. Ensure mini bars are correctly stocked and recorded. Set up in-room bar trolleys according to menu lists, including required serving equipment such as corkscrews and coasters. Assist with transporting housekeeping staff to various areas via golf carts Perform rotational cleaning duties, including public areas, and ensure all furnishings, facilities, and equipment are in good repair. Assist with moving furniture where required and perform additional duties such as porter assistance. Assist with dispatching and receiving outsourced laundry and related functions. Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to requests and enquiries courteously and efficiently. Adhere to and maintain Health and Safety standards.   Experience and Skills:   Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and methods Good communication and comprehension skills Strong attention to detail High standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times Personal and professional integrity Inherent Requirements: Matric Certificate Good communication skills in English High level of physical endurance Valid driver’s license Ability to work shifts, including night shifts Preference given to candidates from Franschhoek and neighbouring areas
