Role Description The Senior Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kigali. The Senior Consultant will lead client engagements in areas such as accounting and tax advisory, property and project management, and market-focused strategy development. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client assessments, preparing analytical reports and recommendations, coordinating project timelines and deliverables, and presenting solutions to client leadership. The role involves mentoring junior team members, collaborating with cross-functional colleagues, and ensuring high-quality service delivery that aligns with client objectives and local regulatory requirements. The Senior Consultant will also contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities, supporting proposal preparation, and strengthening long-term client relationships. Qualifications Strong consulting skills, including client needs assessment, problem-solving, and development of actionable recommendations. Professional experience in accounting, finance, or tax advisory, with practical knowledge of regional regulatory frameworks. Background in project management or property management, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of project milestones. Exposure to marketing or digital marketing strategies, with the ability to connect market insights to business growth initiatives. Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders. Proven ability to work on-site in a collaborative team environment, manage multiple client engagements, and meet deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field; advanced qualifications or certifications are an advantage. Prior consulting experience in Rwanda or eastern Africa, and fluency in English; proficiency in additional regional languages is beneficial.
