Reporting Line HEAD OF ICT PROJECT CHANNEL SUPPORT Location Tanzania Head Office Department DEPARTMENT OF ICT Number of openings 1 Job Purpose The Senior Manager System Analysis and Subsidiary Support is responsible for providing strategic leadership, governance, and management of the Bank’s system analysis, solution design, and subsidiaries support functions across CRDB Group entities. The role oversees the translation of business strategies into technology solutions by ensuring effective business analysis, requirements management, solution architecture, application governance, and delivery of technology initiatives. The position also provides leadership and coordination of ICT support services across subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with Group ICT strategy, enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, regulatory expectations, and operational objectives. The role serves as the key point of coordination between business units, ICT teams, subsidiaries, project teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure successful planning, implementation, support, optimization, and continuous improvement of enterprise technology solutions that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and business growth. The Senior Manager is responsible for establishing and enforcing standards, methodologies, governance frameworks, and best practices related to systems analysis, solution design, enterprise applications, and subsidiaries support while contributing to the Group’s Digital Transformation Strategy and Technology Roadmap. Principle Responsibilities – Manage business expectations and ensure clear communication on technology initiatives and service delivery across subsidiaries. – Lead and manage the System Analysis, Solution Design, and Subsidiary Support functions across the Group. – Implement strategic initiatives supporting the Group ICT Strategy, Digital Transformation Agenda, and Technology Roadmap. – Provide overall leadership and coordination of ICT support services across all subsidiaries. – Support subsidiaries in technology planning, project delivery, application support, and operational excellence initiatives. – Establish mechanisms to promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and operational consistency across all countries. – Monitor and improve service delivery and issue resolving across subsidiaries. – Collaborate with executive management, business units, subsidiary leadership teams, and ICT stakeholders to understand strategic priorities and technology needs. – Drive design and development of systems, and continuous improvement initiatives across technology platforms and subsidiaries. – Review, challenge, and approve solution architecture designs prior to implementation. – Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles. – Guide project teams through requirements management, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation review activities. – Ensure all solutions and systems comply with ICT security policies, data protection requirements, regulatory obligations, and industry standards. – Oversee remediation of audit findings, regulatory observations, risk issues, and compliance gaps. – Monitor emerging technologies, industry developments, and banking technology trends. – Evaluate innovation opportunities and recommend technologies that enhance business performance. – Respond within agreed timelines to issues raised by Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, Regulators, and other assurance functions. – Ensure timely resolution of risk, control, and compliance issues while supporting major incident management and business continuity activities to strengthen operational resilience and risk management effectiveness. – Maintain awareness of regulatory, technology, and banking industry developments relevant to enterprise systems and digital transformation. Qualifications Required – Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field from an accredited institution. – Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Solution Design, Enterprise Architecture, or related technology functions. – Minimum of 5 years experience in Information Technology management, including at least two (2) years in a banking environment at a senior, supervisory, management, or specialist level within an institution of comparable size and complexity. – Proven experience in leading business analysis and technology solution design initiatives within banking, financial services, or large enterprise technology environments. – Strong understanding of enterprise applications, digital platforms, integration technologies, and business process transformation. – At least one professional qualification in ITSM related area (i.e., ITIL or COBIT), Professional certification in Business Analysis, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, or Systems Analysis (CBAP, TOGAF, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, etc.) is an added advantage. – Advanced knowledge of banking systems, digital banking platforms, enterprise applications, and integration technologies. – Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, enterprise architecture, and solution design frameworks. – Understanding of IT Governance, IT Service Management, Risk Management, Cybersecurity, and Regulatory Compliance. – Knowledge of project management, change management, and digital transformation frameworks. – Experience working with banking systems, digital channels, and technology delivery frameworks, including Agile and traditional project environments.
