VACANCY SERENDIB HOTELS & RESORTS Serendib Hotels & Resorts invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Hotel Internal Auditor, responsible for auditing hotel operations in Salima and Lilongwe. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct regular audits of hotel revenue, cash receipts, payments, purchases, inventory and payroll Review compliance with company policies, procedures and internal controls Verify supporting documents and identify control weaknesses, irregularities and potential fraud. Conduct surprise cash counts, stock counts and operational audits. Prepare audit reports and recommend corrective actions. Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE A degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Auditing or Finance Relevant experience in internal auditing. preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry. Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills. High levels of integrity, independence and attention to detail Willingness to travel between hotel locations as required.
