Job Summary The Purchasing Specialist will manage purchasing activities, supplier sourcing, supplier performance, payment coordination, and purchasing system maintenance to ensure timely delivery of quality materials at competitive terms. Responsibilities Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, availability, and delivery. Monitor supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and service. Follow up on material claims, quality issues, and delayed deliveries. Support monthly supplier prepayment clearing and account reconciliation. Maintain supplier master data, payment methods, and source lists. Monitor and follow up on outstanding Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs). Coordinate with Finance, Warehouse, Quality, and other departments on purchasing matters. Prepare basic reports on supplier performance, purchasing activities, and outstanding orders. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supplier management. Experience in supplier sourcing, quality and delivery management, and payment reconciliation. Familiarity with ERP/purchasing systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
