The Center for Civilians in Conflict (CIVIC) is an international organization dedicated to the protection of civilians affected by armed conflict and situations of insecurity. Through its project "Contributing to Pacific and Safe Societies (CPSS)", CIVIC works in Bandiagara and Sofara circles to strengthen the resilience of communities to threats to their security and protection. The approach adopted is based on community engagement and the active participation of populations in identifying risks, preventing violence and seeking durable solutions to protection issues. As part of the implementation of the CPSS program, CIVIC supports the communities of Sofara, notably through the Community Protection Committee (CPC), in identifying community priorities and promoting solutions that meet the needs of populations. As a result of the community consultations conducted by CPC, improved access to agricultural areas was identified as a local priority. The communities noted in particular the difficulties of access to more than 571 hectares of agricultural land due to the state of degradation of the road currently used to access it. In order to help improve access conditions to agricultural production areas and support people’s livelihoods, CIVIC plans to support a community initiative aimed at rehabilitating this access route. This Notice of Expression of Interest aims to identify qualified companies or service providers with the necessary technical and logistical capacities to contribute to the rehabilitation work of the secondary road of 2 km access to the agricultural areas of Sofara. 2. Without prejudice to the final specifications that will be communicated to the pre-selected service providers, the service should include: Mobilization of machinery adapted to the work; - Mobilization of dump trucks; - Transport and provision of the necessary equipment; - Supply of machinery in accordance with the needs of the work; - Operations necessary for the rehabilitation of the track in laterite; - Any other service directly related to the work and specified in the technical specifications. 3. Profile of service providers sought Candidates should, in particular: Be legally established and authorized to carry out the activities concerned; - Demonstrate relevant experience in construction work, development or maintenance of runways/lanes; - Have appropriate technical, material and logistical means or demonstrate their ability to mobilize them; - Demonstrate their capacity to intervene in the area concerned; - Be able to comply with the administrative, financial and technical requirements applicable to the market. 4.
