Job title: Trainee Monitoring Evaluation Project: PFC(Project Classified Forests) Location: Parakou Supervisor: Chef Projet PFCPresentation of Technoserve: Everyone deserves the opportunity to build a better future. This simple idea has been at the heart of Techno Serve’s work around the world for more than 50 years. Techno Serve is a pioneer in harnessing the power of businesses and markets to create sustainable ways out of poverty. The low-income communities we work in are full of enterprising people. Their small farms and businesses are the keys to economic development. But they face many challenges: low literacy, lack of access to jobs and markets, unpredictable political dynamics and, increasingly, the effects of climate change. For many women and young people, the challenges are even more daunting. Working with Techno Serve staff, people around the world are lifting themselves out of poverty. The results are amazing... when incomes rise and families’ living conditions improve, they can access health care and education that was previously out of reach. Communities and even entire countries are better off. Presentation of the PFC Project: The Benin Classified Forests Project (PFC-B), financed by the World Bank and implemented under the tutelage of the Ministry of the Framework of Life and Transport in charge of Sustainable Development (MCVT), has entrusted the dynamization of its Component 3 (Green Economy) to Techno Serve for a period of one year. The intervention aims to transform the honey and shea sectors at the scale of 10 classified forests through a package of intensive interventions: processing infrastructures, modern equipment, structuring into cooperatives and capacity building. Despite the intensity of field work, the project suffers from a critical visibility deficit, restricted to institutional branding on official vehicles. This strategy corrects this deficiency by moving from descriptive communication to impact, evidence and accountability communication. Job Description: Under the supervision of the Project Manager, he/she will contribute primarily to monitoring field activities, data quality control, consolidating project indicators, documenting results and preparing closing deliverables. •Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
•Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
•Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
•Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
•Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
•A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
