Credit Risk Analyst (m/f)

VARIANCE GRH is recruiting for Abidjan, a Credit Risk Analyst on a full-time contract, without teleworking, in the accounting, legal and consulting sector as well as human resources management. The position is to be filled for a profile with 2-5 years of experience.

Main duties

As a Credit Risk Analyst, you assess credit risks, monitor the portfolio of commitments and help strengthen the bank’s credit risk management system. As such, your activities consist in keeping the record of commitments and the various tables of follow-up processing of requests, both on receipt and on dispatch. You check all the files received before they are processed and proceed to their assembly.

You assess the credit risks attached to transactions, whether they are clients, counterparties or transactions, and recommend changes in structures, terms and guarantees. You appreciate the ability and money back guarantees presented by a particular customer or company when applying for credit. You produce a counter-analysis note, in summary form, on each credit application, which serves as a decision support tool. You participate in the various Commitment Committees and write their minutes. You also write the letters of offer to the customer in accordance with the decision of CODEN.

You participate in the preparation of the various statements, including BCEAO and Group reports on credit risk. You follow the outcome of the contests and the refunds granted, and identify, through dashboards, the credits whose results are difficult. You identify competitions that are compromised and eligible for decommissioning in accordance with the regulatory provisions in force in the WAEMU, and propose to your hierarchy corrective actions for complex files.

You conduct economic and sectoral analyses and participate in the development of a database to determine average indicators by sector of activity. You carry out predictive studies and put in place risk assessment tools. You participate in the formalization of procedures and management documentation, as well as the processing of complaints. You take part in the operational entry of guarantees and bank assistance and the archiving of credit files.

Profile of the position

You hold a LAC degree+4/5 in Finance, Banks or any other equivalent degree, with a minimum of 02 years experience in the same function. You master financial analysis and general accounting and have a capacity for analysis by macro and mesoeconomic approach. You also know the banking competitions, the prudential system CB-UMOA and the security and guarantees system. Ready to work as a team, you have legal skills and demonstrate a spirit of synthesis, adaptability and rigor.
