Organisation: Fount for Nations Location: Lilongwe, Malawi Employment: Full-time Reporting to: Clinic Lead About the Role Fount for Nations is seeking an Occupational Therapy Technician (OTT) to join our Child Development Clinic and provide occupational therapy services to children with developmental delays and disabilities. The role aims to improve children's functional independence, participation in daily activities, and inclusion in learning environments. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver occupational therapy interventions in coordination with the multidisciplinary team (MDT). Participate in developmental assessments and occupational therapy programmes. Provide hands-on occupational therapy interventions to improve children's functional abilities. Provide occupational therapy services to children with disabilities in the community. Assist in training caregivers on basic rehabilitation techniques. Conduct school readiness assessments. Provide learning support to children with developmental delays and disabilities. Participate in Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings. Maintain accurate records of children's assessments, treatments and progress.
Diploma in Occupational therapy. Must be registered with the Medical Council of Malawi (MCM) and hold a valid practicing license.
Experience working in schools and inclusive education programmes will be an added advantage. We Are Looking For a Male OTT Who Is passionate about children and seeing every child thrive. Is dependable, discreet and able to stay calm and courteous.
