JOB ADVERT : Purchasing Manager Job Summary Ensure timely availability of goods and services while controlling costs, quality and purchasing risks. Key Responsibilities Identify purchasing needs and plan procurement with the relevant departments. Source and evaluate suppliers, compare quotations and negotiate prices, contracts and delivery terms. Create and track purchase orders in the ERP system and follow up on deliveries and returns. Coordinate stock monitoring and inventories to prevent shortages and excess stock. Monitor purchasing budgets, expenses and supplier invoice payments with Finance. Manage the purchasing team and ensure compliance with internal purchasing procedures. Assess supplier performance, manage supply risks and report on costs and purchasing results.
Min 3 - 4 years experience in Procurement, supply chain or any related field. Min a Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply chain or in similar fields. Candidate Requirements Young, dynamic and professionally presentable.
Strong communication and comprehension skills. Willingness to work, with a proactive attitude. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and working methods.
Experience or a background in the education sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant digital tools.
