Job Summary MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Degree in Agriculture / Agronomy / Horticulture 7 15+ years experience in commercial farming Strong experience in: Drip irrigation fertigation systems High-value vegetable production Orchard management Greenhouse / protected cultivation Experience in Africa or similar climates preferred Knowledge of GlobalG.A.P. or export standards Strong leadership and labour management skills Ability to work in remote farm conditions RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO Full operational management of farm activities (crop planning, planting, harvesting) Supervision of irrigation, fertigation, and crop protection programs Implementation of high-yield agronomic practices Management of labour force (recruitment, supervision, productivity control) Coordination of nursery and planting schedules Monitoring crop performance and yield optimization Implementation of GlobalG.A.P. and certification requirements Coordination with procurement for seeds, inputs, and equipment Post-harvest handling and quality control Reporting: daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports Cost control and productivity improvement Collaboration with management on expansion phases
