Location

: Abidjan, Félix - Houphouët - Boigny International Airport Contract type : 12-month renewable CDD with trial period Salary range: According to the internal grid Industry Transport, logistics, supply chain and storage Main duty On behalf of one of its clients, RMO recruits two (02) Customs Declarations specialized in air cargo Attached to the Transit Manager, you ensure all customs clearance formalities for goods transported by air, from their arrival at the airport to their release and collection. You ensure the compliance of declarations, compliance with Ivorian customs regulations and control of deadlines, while contributing to the reduction of costs related to the storage of goods. Tasks

• 1. Preparation and control of customs clearance files Receipt and verification of air cargo documents: air waybills (LTA/AWB), invoices, packing lists and sanitary or phytosanitary documents, licences and authorizations. Determine the tariff classification of goods according to the Harmonized System (HS), their origin and value for duty. Identify the appropriate customs regime and ensure compliance of records before declaration.
• 2. Preparation and follow-up of customs declarations Process, prepare and transmit reports in detail via SYDAM World and the Ivory Coast’s Single Window for Foreign Trade (GUCE-CI). Monitor the liquidation and payment of duties and taxes. Ensure clearance of suspensive customs procedures, including transit, warehouse and temporary admission.
• 3. Monitoring of airport operations and removal of goods Track goods in bonded stores at the airport and coordinate inspection, scanning and release operations with the Customs Administration.

Other information

Liaising with airlines, handlers and other partners involved in freight processing. Organize the collection of goods as soon as possible in order to limit the costs of shopping and possible demurrage.

• 4. Customs compliance, time management and reporting Ensure compliance with regulations, prohibitions, standards and obligations applicable to foreign trade. Anticipate the risks of blocking and customs litigation, and contribute to their prevention. Inform clients of the progress of operations, respect processing times and ensure the filing and archiving of files.
