The World Food Programme (WFP) is recruiting a Partnership Management, Communication and Reporting Specialist for its country office in Guinea, based in Conakry. The post is to be filled as an International United Nations Volunteer (UNV) on a face-to-face basis at the United Nations premises for a renewable period of six months. The incumbent will coordinate the preparation of donor reports in accordance with contractual requirements, monitor reporting deadlines and maintain a consolidated database of partner contributions, funding agreements and commitments. He will produce strategic analyses on funding trends and partnership opportunities, and prepare briefing notes, briefings and advocacy papers for management.

Coordination and capacity-building

The incumbent will advise technical teams on the requirements of partners and donors, support national staff in building their capacity for partnerships, communication and reporting, and foster an inclusive, collaborative and gender-sensitive work environment.

Expected results

  • •Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
  • •Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
  • •Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
  • •Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
  • •Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
  • •A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
