Expérience
Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. We also enable children to prepare for and respond to crises and adversity. Using our reach, experience, and knowledge, we drive changes in practice and policy at local, national, and global levels. We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 75 years and are active in more than 70 countries. Plan International Liberia (PIL) serves as the Principal Recipient for TB/HIV components and C19RM under grants from The Global Fund (GC7). Through this role, PIL has played a critical part in strengthening Liberia’s health infrastructure and systems. In close collaboration with the Ministry of Health Liberia and key stakeholders, PIL continues to advance efforts to build a resilient and integrated health system. This approach focuses on improving healthcare infrastructure, strengthening supply chain systems, and enhancing the country’s capacity to deliver quality health services. Plan International Liberia, in partnership with the Ministry of Health (MoH), intends to assess the existing power systems at 10 selected health facilities supporting GeneXpert services to determine whether repair, upgrading or a new solar installation is required. Reliable power is required to support GeneXpert platforms, associated laboratory equipment and essential facility operations. Plan International Liberia therefore intends to engage a qualified consulting firm to undertake stakeholder consultations, detailed site assessments, energy audits, system sizing and engineering design. The consultant will prepare site-specific priced bills of quantities (BoQs) and the technical Terms of Reference/specifications required for a subsequent competitive process to select a solarization works vendor. - •Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
- •Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
- •Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
- •Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
- •Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
- •A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
