Job Overview: The Social Media Intern is responsible for supporting the development and execution of social media initiatives that enhance brand awareness, audience engagement, and business growth. The role involves creating and managing content across multiple social media platforms, monitoring campaign performance, conducting market and audience research, and identifying opportunities to optimize digital marketing efforts. Duties and Responsibilities: Support the planning, development, and execution of social media campaigns to enhance brand visibility and audience engagement. Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to identify successful content and scalable campaign opportunities. Conduct market and audience research to inform social media and digital marketing strategies. Develop and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars across various social media platforms. Create and distribute engaging content across social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others). Provide marketing support for both virtual and in-person events, ensuring effective digital promotion and audience engagement. Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media platforms in a timely manner. Monitor competitor social media activity and benchmark performance to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices. Assist in the creation and scheduling of content for social media channels. Stay informed on emerging social media trends, digital marketing tools, and platform updates to enhance campaign effectiveness. Support the development and execution of influencer marketing campaigns, including influencer identification, engagement, and performance tracking. Collaborate with other departments to support financial processes and reporting, and undertake other duties assigned by management.
