Internal Audit Manager — Bridge Microfinance, Abidjan (M/F)

[JOB DESCRIPTION]

The Internal Audit Manager will be responsible for:

• Ensure the independence and effectiveness of the internal control system;
• Provide the Board of Directors and General Management with reasonable assurance on risk control, regulatory compliance and wealth;
• Conduct the internal audit function and ensure its added value.

[RESPONSIBILITIES]

• Governance and strategy
• Planning and supervising audit engagements
• Follow-up of recommendations and continuous improvement
• Risk management and internal control
• Reporting and institutional relations
• Function management and development

[GENERAL COMPETENCES]

• UEMOA regulations (SFD, bank, payment services) and BCEAO texts
• International Internal Auditing Standards, COSO and COSO ERM
• Financial, operational, IT and compliance audit
• Risk management, compliance and internal control
• SYSCOHADA Accounting Standards and IFRS
• Corporate governance, strategic management and change management
• Data analysis and reporting tools

[OPERATIONAL SKILLS]

• Define the internal audit strategy and risk-based audit plan
• Harmonize repositories and oversee audit engagements, including in subsidiaries
• Evaluate governance, internal control and risk management arrangements
• Produce audit reports and manage recommendations
• Report strategic and regulatory risks to governance bodies

[EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE]

Bac+4/5 in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Audit & Management Control, with at least 8 years of professional experience, including 3 to a position of manager in the financial sector.
