Recruitment of a Supervisor of Pressing Activities Douala – SOFT PRESSING (MAISAF GROUP SARL) SOFT PRESSING is an establishment specialized in dry cleaning and laundry activities, located in the Akwa à Douala. The company belongs to the MAISAF GROUP SARL . As part of the organization and monitoring of its activities, SOFT PRESSING recruits a Supervisor of Pressing Activities responsible for ensuring the coordination of production teams and quality control of services. Job description The Supervisor of Pressing Activities will have the main mission to ensure the daily smooth running of the laundry and dry cleaning workshop. He will be responsible for organizing, coordinating and controlling the different stages of laundry treatment, from receipt of items until their return to customers. He will have to ensure the respect of work procedures, hygiene and safety standards as well as the quality of the services performed.

Responsibilities

The incumbent will work under the direct responsibility of the Directorate.

Main duties

Main duties and responsibilities

• 1. Organization and supervision of dry-cleaning activities Plan the daily activities of the dry cleaning workshop. Organize and distribute work among the members of the production team. Supervise the different operations of laundry treatment. Ensure the smooth running of reception activities, washing, dry cleaning, ironing and restitution. Ensure proper coordination between the different stages of production. Monitor the progress of tasks assigned to teams.
• 2. Supervision of production teams Coordinate the work of employees assigned to laundry and dry-cleaning activities.

Other information

Organize the tasks of ironers and other team members. Ensure compliance with work instructions. Identify the difficulties encountered in carrying out activities. Contribute to maintaining an effective organization within the workshop.

• 3. Quality control of services Perform the final quality control of clothing and textiles before they are returned to customers. Check the conformity of the treatment of the articles. Ensure the quality of washing, cleaning and ironing. Identify any imperfections that require a resumption of treatment. Ensure that the items are returned in a condition that meets the quality requirements of the establishment.
• 4. Compliance with hygiene and safety standards Ensure the application of hygiene rules in the workshop. Check compliance with safety instructions when processing laundry. Ensure that operations are carried out in accordance with established procedures. Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Candidate profile

Education / Qualifications

Êhold a BAC level diploma+2 minimum. All training courses are accepted.

Experience

Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. Have previously held supervisory, team leader or equivalent positions. Experience in the organization and monitoring of production activities in dry cleaning or laundry is particularly relevant. Expected skills To succeed in this position, the candidate must be able to: Organize and plan the activities of a team. Oversee several production operations. Conduct rigorous quality controls. Enforce procedures and work instructions. Identify operational problems and contribute to their resolution.
