Managing Director of Subsidiary

Mission The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for overseeing the economic performance of the company’s subsidiary, ensuring compliance with commitments in terms of quality, timeliness and compliance, and ensuring its development according to the headquarters’ vision and strategic orientations. Main activities Institutional representation of the company:

• Ensure all administrative and legal procedures on behalf of the company in the country of establishment with the support of the International Support and Steering Department;
• Ensure the legal and regulatory compliance of all processes of the subsidiary;
• Ensure the institutional representation of the subsidiary of the company in all thematic, business, community events, etc., in which it is involved to increase the visibility of the subsidiary in the host country; Commercial management and communication:
• Provides direction and commercial management of the entity;
• Actively research to establish and develop the business of the subsidiary;
• Be a force for proposing the development of activities and products according to local demand;
• Manage and ensure the management of all commercial actions (product launches, media and non-media communication. ...etc.);
• Establish strategic partnerships and ensure their maintenance (distribution networks, partners, etc.);
• Define business objectives and plan actions for them;
• Initiate and supervise communication operations;
• Participate and represent the company at events (salons, conferences, seminars...);
• Ensure a competitive watch; Management and control of the entity:
• Define and negotiate the objectives of the entity;
• Ensure the optimization of the human and financial resources allocated to it;
• Provide the hierarchy with periodic indicators of the status of the entity’s activity;
• Ensure the achievement of financial performance in accordance with predefined objectives;
• Collaborate with the International Support and Steering Department in the preparation of the subsidiary’s general budget;
• Approve and manage expenditures in accordance with delegated authorities;
• Participate in leadership and coordination bodies;
• Oversee the sizing, assignment and evaluation of teams by their respective managers;
• Ensure the implementation of procedures and their application;
• Ensure the continuous improvement of the quality of the entity’s services;

Other information

• Develop the entity’s business expertise by staying informed of any technical or regulatory innovations;
• Ensure the implementation and updating of the 1st level control system and ensure its application; Supervision of operational processes:
• Ensure compliance with the entity’s underwriting, production and compensation procedures; Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality and time requirements required by the entity; Ensure a relationship of trust with the network by providing all necessary means to improve customer relations;
• Ensure coordination with other company entities;
• Oversee the implementation of operational models when launching an activity/product; Management ALM:
• Operate investment operations in consultation with the investment management;

Job overview

• Monitor the investment portfolio of subsidiaries and ensure that it is adapted to the economic context;
• Monitor the performance of ALM management; Advice, decision support and technical support:
• Accompany employees in the processing of complex or technical cases or when launching new products, new regulations, etc.

Education / Qualifications

• To conduct recruitment, integration and training processes for new recruits with the support of the International Support and Steering Department and the Human Capital, Logistics and Purchasing Division,
• Manage and optimize team assignments;
• Evaluate and monitor the productivity of teams.

Candidate profile

• Êholding a baccalaureate +5 in Management / Engineering;

Experience

• Have at least 15 years of experience;
• Be between 45-55 years of age;
• Knowledge of the company’s strategic directions and policies;
• Knowledge of pricing techniques;
• Knowledge of regulatory aspects;
• Calculation and pricing of insurance conditions;
• Development of policy and business development plans;
• Activity management;
• Application of monitoring techniques;
• Development, monitoring and analysis of indicators and dashboards;
• Management of applications for approval;
• Ability to argue and persuade;
• Relational ease;
• A sense of rigour and organization;
• Management and control of stress.
