Department: Marketing & Sales Reports To: Sales Manager Location: Emerald Hill, Lusaka, Zambia Employment Type: Full-Time JOB SUMMARY Africa Panorama is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and digitally savvy Social Media Content Creator to join our Marketing & Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing engaging digital content that strengthens our brand presence, connects with our audience, and supports our marketing and sales objectives. This role is ideal for someone who understands social media beyond simply posting content, someone who can identify trends, tell compelling stories, create visually appealing content, and use audience insights to continuously improve performance. The successful candidate will create and manage content across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X , while maintaining a consistent and professional brand identity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute engaging social media content aligned with the company’s brand, marketing strategy, and business objectives. Create high-quality photos, videos, graphics, Reels, Stories, captions, and other digital content . Manage and maintain the company’s social media platforms. Develop and maintain weekly and monthly social media content calendars. Research social media trends, hashtags, topics, and emerging content formats. Write engaging captions, headlines, promotional copy, and other social media content. Film, edit, and publish short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook. Coordinate photography and video shoots where required. Ensure all published content is consistent with the company’s brand guidelines and standards. Schedule and publish content consistently across relevant platforms. Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and audience engagement. Respond to social media enquiries and engage with followers in a professional and timely manner. Monitor social media analytics and evaluate content performance. Prepare regular reports covering reach, engagement, audience growth, and content performance. Use performance insights to improve future content, campaigns, and audience engagement. Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, Design, and other relevant teams. Support digital marketing campaigns, product launches, events, promotions, and other company initiatives. Stay informed about changes in social media platforms, algorithms, features, trends, and best practices. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Marketing, Media, Journalism, Communications, or a related field . Proven experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, or a related role. Strong photography and videography skills. Experience using content creation and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar software . Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong copywriting, storytelling, and creative writing abilities. Good understanding of major social media platforms and their respective audiences. Knowledge of social media analytics and performance measurement. Ability to identify, understand, and respond quickly to emerging social media trends. Strong attention to detail and a good eye for visual presentation. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team. ADDED ADVANTAGE The following will be considered an advantage: Experience managing social media accounts for a business or established brand. Experience creating engaging short-form video content. Basic knowledge of digital advertising and paid social media campaigns. Experience in photography, videography, and video editing. Understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles. Confidence and willingness to appear on camera when required. A strong portfolio demonstrating previous social media and content creation work.
