Role Description:

This is a contract, on-site role for an Information Technology Network Administrator based in Cape Town.
The role involves managing and maintaining network infrastructures, ensuring robust network security, and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure optimal system performance.
Daily responsibilities include monitoring network performance, configuring and upgrading system and network components, and resolving connectivity issues promptly to support seamless operations.

Strong skills in System Administration and network infrastructure setup and maintenance

Experience in Network Security to ensure data protection and compliance

Familiarity with network protocols, hardware, and cloud-based solutions
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field
Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar are advantageous
Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage tasks independently
