The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking an Aviation Officer to enhance the efficiency of aviation operations and services. The role involves establishing and maintaining an effective air transport service, ensuring logistical support, and analyzing flight reports. The officer will also conduct risk assessments, advise on air transport requirements, and produce statistical reports. This position is based in Yaounde, Cameroon, and requires a strong background in aviation management and operations. Bachelor's degree with 5 years experience or Master's degree with 3 years experience in aviation management Commercial Pilot License, Air Traffic Control License, or equivalent Experience in arranging flight clearances and immigration documentation Experience coordinating with national aviation authorities Ability to supervise and train junior staff Fluency in English and intermediate knowledge of French Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
