Job Title : Cashier Location : Liwonde Private Hospital Liwonde Private hospital is urgently seeking for a Cashier to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Processing sales transactions Reconciling cash drawers and sales receipts against cash deposits and ensuring that all financial transactions are balanced. Maintaining accurate records and financial stability for the success of the hospital Ensure compliance with financial procedures and guidelines Responding to and resolving customer complaints and concerns Assisting in conducting monthly stock taking Maintaining cashbooks Posting entries to ledger ensuring that transactions are correctly coded Maintaining and processing petty cash transactions Updating the fixed asset register and schedules Updating the filing system Liaising with the Auditors on year-end reports
Any other duties assigned from time to time
Certificate In Financial Accounting or any related field.
Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) with credit in mathematics Anyone with a Diploma in Accounting will have an added advantage
At least two years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and other staff members.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Be willing to work on shifts and during odd hours
