Job Summary

The Project Manager will provide strategic leadership and oversight across a diverse portfolio of projects within Etazuma Mining & Industries Limited (EZM) and its Client Companies. The role is responsible for driving the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of multi-sector projects spanning mining, energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, and internal transformation initiatives.

The position requires translating Executive Management priorities into structured, actionable project plans while ensuring disciplined execution, effective stakeholder coordination, and delivery of measurable outcomes.

The Project Manager will oversee technical, engineering, and regulatory aspects of projects, ensuring all initiatives are delivered within scope, timeline, budget, and in compliance with required quality, safety, and governance standards.

As a key advisor to Executive Management, the role provides strategic insights on project feasibility, execution, and performance, while ensuring alignment across multiple business units and optimizing resource utilization across the project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Leadership & Portfolio Oversight:

Provide strategic leadership across a diverse portfolio of technical, industrial, and infrastructure-related projects within EZM and its Client Companies.

Lead the conceptualization, structuring, and execution of projects aligned with Executive Management priorities.

Drive the translation of high-level directives into actionable, structured, and measurable project initiatives.

Provide oversight across projects spanning resource development, industrial processing, energy solutions, and internal transformation initiatives.

End-to-End Project Planning & Execution:

Take full ownership of project lifecycle delivery from initiation, feasibility, planning, execution, to close-out.

Develop detailed project execution plans including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and deliverables.

Ensure delivery within approved scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards.

Integrate project execution with operational, commercial, and strategic business objectives.

Technical, Engineering & Regulatory Coordination:

Coordinate with engineering consultants, technical experts, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely approvals and compliance.

Oversee feasibility studies, engineering designs, and technical evaluations for projects across mining, energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure domains.

Ensure strict adherence to environmental, safety, and statutory requirements.

Project Governance, Structuring & Documentation:

Establish and maintain a robust project governance framework, including:

Scope management

Schedule control

Cost tracking

Quality assurance

Develop and manage key documentation such as:

Feasibility reports

Execution roadmaps

Risk registers

Stakeholder maps

Ensure all projects remain audit-ready and compliant with internal and external standards.

Performance Monitoring & Delivery Control:

Track and monitor project performance using KPIs, milestones, and performance dashboards.

Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions to maintain alignment with objectives.

Ensure transparency, accountability, and structured reporting across all project activities.

Risk Management & Value Optimization:

Lead proactive identification and mitigation of technical, financial, and operational risks.

Drive value engineering and cost optimization strategies across all project phases.

Conduct constructability reviews and ensure efficient execution approaches.

Executive Advisory & Strategic Reporting:

Serve as a key advisor to Executive Management on:

Project feasibility

Execution strategy

Budgeting and timelines

Provide clear, data-driven, and concise reports on project progress, risks, and decision points.

Support Management in making informed strategic decisions across the project portfolio.

Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Coordination:

Act as the central coordination point between:

Business units

Technical teams

Contractors and consultants

Regulatory bodies

Ensure alignment of priorities, timelines, and deliverables across all stakeholders.

Facilitate seamless collaboration across multiple entities and project locations.

Resource Planning & Financial Oversight:

Support project budgeting, cost control, and financial monitoring.

Ensure optimal allocation and utilization of human, technical, and financial resources.

Provide visibility into cost performance and financial risks associated with project execution.

Project Portfolio Transformation & Continuous Improvement:

Support internal transformation initiatives

Drive standardization of project management practices across EZM and Client Companies.

Promote a culture of discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

Proven experience managing complex, multi-functional projects

Strong understanding of project planning, execution, and governance frameworks

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities

Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment

High level of ownership, professionalism, and accountability.
