Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in auditing or internal control. ICAN Certification is an added advantage. Strong analytical, investigative, and reporting skills. Sound knowledge of accounting principles, internal control systems, and audit standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: Conduct regular and surprise audits of all departments, branches, and production units (Pastries, Bakery, and Kitchen) to ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and financial controls. Review cash handling, sales records, production outputs, inventory management (raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods), and expense documentation for accuracy and completeness. Audit production processes, including material issuance, usage, wastage, yield, and variance analysis within the Pastries, Bakery, and Kitchen units. Detect, investigate, and promptly report discrepancies, fraud, wastage, shrinkage, or policy violations to management. Verify stock balances, supplier transactions, inter-departmental transfers, and store-to-production activities to ensure accountability and traceability. Evaluate internal control systems across retail and production operations and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost control. Prepare detailed audit reports and submit findings, risks identified, and corrective action plans to the Head of Audit and Management. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on compliance across all departments, including production units. Support management in risk assessment, loss prevention in production, cost optimization, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
