UNFPA recrute un Communication and Media Adviser - WCARO pour son bureau régional basé à Dakar, au Sénégal. Ce poste de niveau P5 joue un rôle stratégique dans le renforcement de la visibilité des enjeux fondamentaux de la CIPD et du travail de l'organisation en Afrique de l'Ouest et du Centre.
Le titulaire du poste aura pour responsabilité de concevoir et de mettre en œuvre une stratégie régionale de communication. Il apportera son appui-conseil aux bureaux pays afin de garantir la cohérence de l'image de marque et des messages diffusés. Il pilotera également les relations avec les médias, soutiendra les efforts de plaidoyer et contribuera à la gestion des connaissances ainsi qu'au renforcement des capacités. La fonction suppose une collaboration étroite avec l'ensemble des parties prenantes pour accroître l'influence et la notoriété de l'organisation dans la région.
Le candidat idéal est titulaire d'un diplôme avancé en communication, journalisme ou relations publiques. Il justifie d'au moins dix ans d'expérience professionnelle dans la couverture médiatique. Une expérience avérée en gestion de crise est exigée, tout comme de solides compétences rédactionnelles et de présentation. La maîtrise du français et de l'anglais est indispensable. Enfin, le poste requiert une capacité démontrée à établir des relations de travail dans un environnement multiculturel.
