UNFPA recrute un Communication and Media Adviser - WCARO pour son bureau régional basé à Dakar, au Sénégal. Ce poste de niveau P5 est stratégique : il s'agit de renforcer la visibilité des enjeux fondamentaux de la CIPD et du travail de l'UNFPA à travers l'Afrique de l'Ouest et du Centre.
Le titulaire du poste aura pour responsabilité d'élaborer et de mettre en œuvre une stratégie de communication régionale. Il apportera également des orientations aux bureaux de pays et pilotera les relations avec les médias afin de promouvoir la marque et la réputation de l'UNFPA.
L'Adviser appuiera en outre les efforts de communication dans les contextes d'urgence et veillera à la cohérence des messages, en ligne avec les priorités mondiales de communication. La fonction exige une collaboration avec diverses parties prenantes pour mener des actions de communication et de plaidoyer à fort impact.
